my babies - wind turbines

This is what I do.... I design wind farms. I can imagine it's so ussual for you especcialy in Germany and USA. But in here I mean Poland this thing is new.

This is a very special shot for me. For the first time I manage to achieve colours like that... and I absolutely love it.

I would like to dedicate this shot to :iconditze: . A friend of mine I met here on DA who was so nice he got me a 3 months subscription. Cheers Dennis

Excellent shot! Although, from the thumbnail, you can't really tell that the point of focus is on the windmills. Even whenever you open it, they seem pretty far away, and there just doesn't seem to be enough of them in the frame entirely. Otherwise, the shot is excellent, but the emphasis seems to stick with the sky and landscape. I would have just tried a different angle, simple fix.

As a suggestion... since you stated that you work for the company, why not try to take your photo equipment up to the top of one of those windmills, if you can, and get a shot lined up from higher up?

I'm from the States, and actualllyy... windmills aren't that commonplace around here, except for a few regions that I know of. I don't know about Germany, though. We usually run our power off of either coal or water, sometimes nuclear.

I think we're trying to get more eco-friendly alternatives for fuel and power, which is what Obama is trying to help push for us, therefore that's probably why a few other countries (ie people I've talked to in them) assume that we just all of a sudden threw up all these windmills and in a day made everything run off eco-power lol. It's gonna take some time to get everything up and running.

Excellent shot, though. Since you requested it, I'll just go ahead and throw in my two cents critique-wise here and say that from the thumbnail, you can't really tell that the point of focus is on the windmills. Even whenever you open it, they seem pretty far away, and there just doesn't seem to be enough of them in the frame entirely. Otherwise, the shot is excellent, but the emphasis seems to stick with the sky and landscape. I would have just tried a different angle, simple fix.
