Maybe it's the contrast:
I think, hearing "Paris" often creates a rather romantic and sensual image in people's mind, what stands in contrast to the picture you took here.

Nevertheless, it's a great picture, also because it does not fit the impression describe above.

you're absolutely right - people have that felling that everything it better in places like paris - grass is always greener and it's never raining - now I say - think again :D
